Dr. Carolina da Mata was born and raised in Brazil before moving to the United States in 2009 after high school to pursue new opportunities and strengthen her English skills. What began as a temporary experience quickly became a lifelong journey after falling in love with the people, culture, and sense of community she found in the U.S.
Her passion for helping others began early in life following a sports-related injury during childhood. That experience inspired her to pursue a career focused on improving health, movement, and quality of life for others through natural, hands-on care.
Dr. da Mata earned her Pre-Med degree from Lansing Community College before continuing her education at Texas Chiropractic College, where she graduated in 2020 with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
She is passionate about caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds, including infants, children, teens, athletes, pregnant mothers, adults, and seniors. While her specialties include pregnancy and pediatric chiropractic care, she enjoys helping every patient move better, feel better, and live healthier lives.
Dr. da Mata is certified in FAKTR, Activator Methods, and the Webster Technique, and is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She speaks English and Portuguese fluently and is also able to professionally communicate in Spanish, allowing her to connect with and care for a diverse patient community.
